I tried a new late summer sport...fishing out of the kayak.  What a blast!  The Waxy Wizard with the lanyard cover and attachment was super convenient because it basically gives you a third hand when it comes time to rebait your hook. The bait is right where you need it.  The Waxy Wizard is a handle for your bait...one hand holds the Waxy Wizard and the other for your hook.  No fumbling around with a container and lid. 

A jig with a plastic skirt with a live waxworm was my bait of choice this summer...good success with crappies and sunfish.  I found that putting some extra plastics in the center compartment of the waxy Wizard was very convenient when occasionally an aggressive fish would rob my bait and plastic.  I also found it handy to mount two wizards face to face on same lanyards ensuring I had enough bait for full afternoon of fun and a full stringer….rounding out the afternoon with catch and release after limit was reached.
